Sangar Construction is a family-owned Ontario commercial construction company established in 1986. Our experience spans healthcare, dental, medical, veterinary, daycare, restaurant, retail, office and specialized commercial environments across the GTA and Southwestern Ontario.
Our history
Built on repeat relationships and accountable delivery.
Sangar Construction began in 1986 and grew by completing practical, durable work for owners and operators who expected direct answers and dependable execution. The company remains family-owned. Harvinder is the owner, and Gurpreet Paul leads Sangar’s day-to-day operations.
Construction has changed substantially over four decades. Buildings are more complex, approvals are more demanding, equipment interfaces are more specialized and project schedules are less forgiving. The fundamentals have not changed: understand the scope, expose risk early, coordinate the work properly and stand behind the finished result.
Our current focus reflects that experience. Sangar delivers commercial construction and interior build-outs, with a major specialization in healthcare environments where workflow, servicing, equipment, infection-control considerations and patient experience require more detailed coordination than a conventional fit-out.

Construction leadership from early review through turnover.
Sangar can support a project through design-build or provide general contracting when the owner already has a complete consultant team and permit-ready drawings. The appropriate delivery path depends on the property, project stage, scope, budget and the owner’s internal capabilities.
Our work can begin with review of a potential location, existing conditions, preliminary plans and major construction risks. During pre-construction, we help clarify scope boundaries, building-service requirements, procurement priorities and responsibilities among the parties. During construction, we manage site coordination, trades, inspections, quality control, deficiencies and closeout.
We do not replace architects, engineers, municipal authorities or regulated specialists. We work with them and translate the approved design into a coordinated construction process.
